John Kerr hails from Edinburgh, Scotland, and has recently moved to the Florida area. He came to the US, after competing at the 2006 Olympics, to train with 2 time Olympic Champion, Evgeny Platov.
John, with his sister Sinead Kerr, is a 7-time British Ice Dance Champion, 2-time Olympian, and the 2009 & 2011 European Bronze medalist. He competed in 7 World Championships finishing as high as 5th in 2010. He is a 5-time Grand Prix medalist and finished 4th at the 2009 Grand Prix final of Figure Skating. He has been ranked as high as 2nd in the International Skating Union World Rankings.
John was a cast member of ‘Stars on Ice’ from 2011-2013 and was an assistant choreographer to Jeffrey Buttle for the 2014 Tour. He has recently been named as a cast member for the 2015 show. He was a principal performer for ‘Ice Theatre of New York’ from 2011-2014.
